Music Videos

These are music videos shot with local musicians, bands and groups of the surrounding Las Vegas, NM area.

 

This video was an "intermission" show video for Heavy Metal Sunday Vinyl Record group on Facebook.

This was a music video shot and edited for Fort Union in New Mexico. The lyrics were written by the fort and sung by a worker there, and the video was shot and edited by Jacob Erickson.

This is a music video of the band Second Hand from Raton, NM.

Meadow City Music Festival, raw footage, cover of rebel yell.

Shot this video at the Plaza Hotel for a local band called Strings Attached.

 

Documentary Shoots

These projects are longer documentary shoots that I was the lead on; The Segesser Hide Documentary for the New Mexico History Museum, the Jemez Origin Story for the Jemez Historic Site, Haunted Locations in Las Vegas, NM, Velac Rodent Discovery in the Czech Republic, and A Geologic Study in the Czech Republic.

 
This is a documentary on the Segesser Hide paintings, for the New Mexico History Museum. This documentary was shot for an AmeriCorps Cultural Technology Internship and was used for fundraising for new, climate-controlled cases.

This video was produced for New Mexico Highlands University as an orientation tool to show to prospective/new students at the University, showcasing some history of the town of Las Vegas.

This video was produced with professor of Paleontology in the Czech Republic, in 2019.

This video was produced for the Geology Department at New Mexico Highlands University to highlight the research they were doing in the Czech Republic.

This is a video put together by the PICT class at New Mexico Highlands University. It was shot by Jacob Erickson and Terence Garcia, and edited by Jacob Erickson. This is installed in a permanent exhibition at the Jemez Historic Site.

 

Promo Videos

These are promotional videos shot for organizations in the Las Vegas, NM area and one for a nature park in Poland.

 
 
Promotional video for a monarch butterfly program at our local middle school, which is being put on by Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge.
This is a promo video shoot for the Teplice "Rock City" nature park in Poland. It was shot for them as part of our project for the Czech IRES grant at NMHU. Terence and Jacob Erickson shot and edited this promo video.

This is another marketing video for Dr. Dunkle, who works at Alta Vista Regional Hospital located in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

A political advertisement for a local Lawyer named Brett Phelps, for when he ran for District Attorney.

This is a promotional video for Rural Surgical Associates, located in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

This was a promo video shot and edited by Jacob Erickson from Eldritch Infinitum for the HPWA group of Northern New Mexico.

This is a marketing video for Dr. Edwards, who works at Alta Vista Regional Hospital located in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Hermit’s Peak Watershed Alliance

Here are a few examples of the videos I produced for my part-time job with the non-profit Hermit’s Peak Watershed Alliance. I mainly produced educational and promotional videos for them. If you like what you see here, you may visit their website at (www.hermitspeakwatersheds.org) and see the rest of my video work as well as the work that they do the better the land and watersheds we live and rely on.

I produced this video for the nationally recognized American Rivers organization, where each year they select 10 rivers that are the most endangered in the country for that year.

This video describes what Alluvial Fans are, how they function and what can be done to restore them.

This video details the work performed by Craig Sponholtz and his team at Watershed Artisans during October 2022, in response to the largest fire in NM history earlier this spring and the subsequent flooding in Northern NM.
